One of the basic components of solar system is solar panel. solar panels which are also known as photovoltaic technology appliances work by receiving the direct solar radiations which they convert into electricity and use in the houses and the industries as a substitute of various non renewable sources of energy. Various types of photovoltaic solar panels are mono crystalline, poly crystalline, amorphous and thin film varieties of solar panels. Crystalline silicon panels are the types which are mostly used by the people now days. The two basic designs of the photovoltaic solar panels are flat plate and concentrator panels. Most of the solar panels sold around the world are composed of crystalline silicon cells. The expensive solar panels can also generate electricity under the cloudy weather conditions.
